Lendoit and RSK march together into a decentralized BTC lending future
With just over two weeks until Lendoit’s official Pre-sale, it is time to reveal some details regarding the prestigious cooperation that Lendoit has with perhaps one of the most promising projects in the blockchain space — the RSK Project!!
The Argentinian giant Rootstock or better known as RSK, delivers the first open-source smart contract platform with a 2-way peg to Bitcoin that also rewards the Bitcoin miners via merge-mining, allowing them to actively participate in the Smart Contract revolution. RSK’s goal is to add value and functionality to the Bitcoin ecosystem by enabling smart-contracts, near instant payments and higher-scalability.
Recently RSK announced the release of its open source MainNet Network, Bamboo, in its Beta version at the largest Bitcoin & Blockchain conference in Latin America, enabling, for the first time, the usage of smart contracts on a Bitcoin pegged blockchain.
During the past month, both teams held numerous discussions regarding the functionalities of Lendoit’s P2P lending platform and the possibility of joining forces. Today we are happy to finally reveal that the parties have decided to cooperate in implementing the RSK technology into Lendoit’s platform.
